Who am I?

Welcome to my little creative corner on the internet! I am so grateful you found me and I cannot wait to learn more about you, but for now here are a few things about your PHOTOGRAPHER!

My name is Mattalynn and I feel that I wear many different hats in this life. The main few being: photographer, adventurer, mama/wife, and cancer survivor. I truly believe I have always been obsessed with smiles. Ironically, as a  licensed Dental Hygienist I spent years helping people to feel confident about their smiles, and now as a photographer I get to capture them.

2020 was a hard year for most of us. Amidst the Covid pandemic, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma-Cancer. My life took an unexpected turn with this trial, and it changed my whole perspective. This journey taught me to embrace life's uncertainties, and cherish every moment we have on this earth. Thankfully through resilience, prayer, and a supportive family, I was able to kick cancer's butt and achieve remission.

Going through chemo allowed me to really reflect on my life. It was at this time I decided I needed to start doing what I was truly passionate about:
Photographing LOVE. This is my WHY. 

This is why I do what I do. In life there are no guarantees, we need to live for today and create moments that we will cherish FOREVER!

Meet My Family

Perhaps my greatest adventure is becoming a mama to my little boy Klay!
Parenthood has added a whole new dimension to my life.
Together we explore, learn, and create beautiful memories.
Watching the world through his curious little eyes reminds me of the magic in seemingly small moments. 

My husband Bryan and I, have been married for 8 magical years. He is truly my best friend!

Klay is obsessed with his daddy and wants to be just like him!

Nature has always been my muse, it continually inspires me and feeds my adventurous spirit.
I like just about any outdoor activity you can think of, with hiking being right at the top of the list.
